Im thinking of a change in a couple of months and the WC doesnt seem to ring my bell and no nearly new Hexheads without esc so likely have to get an ADV . I shall either be after a very low mileage without esc and there doesnt seem to be any about or have to buy a new one. Question is what luggage alternatives are there if I get a new one or can I fit my vario boxes?

Luggage

PM Vern of this parish he does brilliant panniers. (am I in line for a drink Vern?)

esc ?? Did I get it wrong ? I mean that electric suspension adjustment thingy I just dont want it.

i think you meant esa,tbh moet late model 1200 gsa will be premium and dynamic so you may be better buying a billy basic spec special order while you still can,1200 hexhead production will start slowing i reckon.

BEGR luggage on my adventure, use the search button :D

looks good if you dont mind me asking how much your set up cost and what frames you are using?

BEGR top box and panniers all powder coated, vinyl wrapped with graphics, inner bags sized and shaped to all boxes, frames, top box adaptor rack and all fittings for just over a grand.

These boxes are well put together, narrow and quite deep. Giving good capacity while not increasing the overall width of the bike.

Not cheap but excellent quality boxes and could have cost less without graphics and inner bags.

colin at "Ridermount" is the UK dealer, give him a call if you're interested.

Fit small diameter stacked twin exhaust cans and there is room for two RHS boxes. A good exhaust pipe fabricator will make a Y joint.

Akaraprovic Ti "Race" pipes would do the same except they are not parallel to the wheel so take up most of the available space of a standard silencer. Cutting and shutting something like that just isnt the done thing.

Sorry, I've just read your post question properly :blast

You CAN also fit your Vario luggage to a GSA (that's what mine had on) but will need to swap the GS alloy rack and rails over to the GSA instead of the tubular rack that's normally fitted. Easily done :rob

Here's my GSA with Vario luggage, looked good and was waterproof but not loads of capacity and a bugger to open the panniers on a tightly packed ferry :blast
