GSA Luggage

Guys,
Just ordered a LC GSA....I know the ally panniers won't fit off my current GSA (twin cam), but does anyone know if the top box is interchangeable?

If so, direct fit or adaptor plate (like the current GSA)?

No you will need to buy a new top case I dare say you could make the old one fit but you would prob end up with a mash up of brkts

Yes you can do it.I took the adventure rack which was fitted to my standard twin cam gs and made some stainless brackets to adapt it to fit my wc.

I made 3 brackets out of some 50mm x 4mm stainless bar,useing nothing more than a hacksaw,files,drill and dremmel.

The other thing I didn't like about the standard wc rear rack was how high and how far back it sat the top box.

Reckon I saved myself around £450 for the cost of some stainless bar and a couple of hours work.

Of course you may just be able to adapt the existing top box mounting plate to fit the new rear rack,I haven't seen the new adventure rear rack but would assume it's similar to the old adventure rack rather than the plastic rear rack the comes with the standard gs.

Whichever it is you WILL be able to adapt your existing top box to fit your new bike.
