Took the bike home from joe duffys yesterday there was a lot more damage to the wiring loom then I had first thought and according to the insurance assessor not caused by the accident. JD's wanted €1300 to replace the loom and then assess the the damage to the other controllers
When I got the bike home none of the panels had been reattached and the tank was just sitting on the frame ,no fuel lines or electricials attached bad form in my book I would have expected it returned in the same state it arrived! They also charged me almost €100 for the pleasure
It took me 2hours to replace and repair the damaged loom and the bike fired up first time
I'm delighted the bike is running but very disappointed with the service from duffys.
The bike still needs more work but it will not be going there to have it done
I have a photo of the damaged loom but can't figure out how to attach.
