Hi all,

Have just had a net made for the inside of the smaller one of the two bmw panniers. Ive fitted a Powerport in order to charge any electrical gadgets as i travel and this proved a great success a couple of weeks ago whilst camping / riding to Prague and back. However, one annoying thing was the leades/ chargers etc would fall into the pannier and get tangled with the rest of the pannier contents etc. So to cure this problem about 2 months ago i asked a local small net company if they could make me something to enable me to use the 'shelf' section of the exhaust side pannier. It wasnt ready the prague run but it is now and ive fitted it today!

I'll add some pictures to illustrate its 'usefulness' and get some feedback on it, but im well chuffed with it and think its a good use of an otherwise 'dead' space. Its a framed net , made to my dimensions and powercoated black, the net itself is very stong and comes with 5 clips / nuts and bolts for fitting.

The small company that made this for me , took a gamble on it in the hope that he might sell a few and this is the first one to be made! I have no connection with the firm other than being a customer so if any one wants one i'll post up the contact details and info. Ive also asked him to make another couple of nets to use on the bike and am awaiting developments

Cheers Chris :thumb

Hi Villan15,

do you mind me asking how much you paid for yours and what the dimensions are.. I've been thinking about one of these for the lid of my vario top box, to keep papers/maps etc etc..?

thanks
