GSA protection additions

Quick question chaps (and ladies), was looking through the available extra protection options here - http://www.adventurebikewarehouse.co.uk/r1200gs-adventure-protection-c-2_11_79.html - and wondered what's considered wise by those who've dropped a GSA or two..
I'm bound to eventually, so whilst I don't need radiator grills et cetera some of the other external bits, not least the brake pump and cyl protectors, look like they might be a wise investment.
Any thoughts on whether the stuff is strong enough to work and necessary in the first place?

Only advice I can offer after 2 "drops" or fall overs on tarmac and a fall down a quarry, showed the main minor damage to occur to:

1. Cylinder Head covers
2. Scratch on side of mirror
3. Scratch on Engine & Tank bars (what they were designed for)
4. Luggage racks
5. Handlebar protector
6. Spotlight

On the one fall I had some of my crashbar bags on - filled with soft goodies and that protected the bars and the tank, but the bag took the brunt of the damage - however was repairable at around 6 quid.

IMO - the addition of a SW-Motech bashplate was the best buy (but we ride lots of dirt roads)
I also added a Headlight/Oil Cooler protector, which saves the radiator and lenses from stones being thrown up from other vehicles.
We opted not to add the normal covers for the reservoirs as I feel that if you have an off serious enough to damage those - the bike could pretty well be stuffed in any case.

Throttle sensors I feel are important - however not from falling but from my bloody big size 13 feet!

The Spotlights are just in a bad place. No matter which cover you put around or over them, an off will break the lights. Tried re-positioning them above the bars (special bracket) but found that they are then too close to the indicators and other road users cannot see your intentions.
Some sort of bar being designed to attach to existing bars to take the fall.....
