all in all, steering lock, disclock and tow in under 1 minute....Bike was only stationary for 1.30hr max .

That makes you wonder whether you were followed or whether they were just cruising around looking for targets...but a under a minute thats insane...clearly very skilled and efficienct at what they do...unfortunately.

My insurance is the same, as I've stated bikes kept in a locked building ,if it's nicked within 1/2 mile of house not insured the 2 companies I use both specify, it pays to know your small print

My insurance have this clause also (Principal Insurance) but I got them to clarify......... that if it gets stolen from within that 1/2mile whilst "part of your journey" it's covered.

Same happened to me. Nearly 6k of damage. A new frame is required if the have snapped the steering lock

These kids are very skilled at thieving. My TC GSA was stolen 3 years back and I have had multiple attempts on my Supermoto. A billion locks and sleep with one eye open and bat radar like ears is my best defence! Unfortunately it doesn't matter whether you leave it for just 5mins. That's all it takes.
