Just read the new Rider magazine road test where they took the three bikes out on a three day ride on all kinds of roads loaded with camping gear.
They placed our GSA first overall. A few of the nice things mentioned are "it's low end torque and unflappable Dynamic ESA make it extremely forgiving, soaking up the rough stuff better than the others". Also appreciated was it's longer range and the fact the GSA makes more power and torque than even the KTM up to 7,000 rpm. KTM's extra hp doesn't begin until 7,500 peaking at 131 hp at 9,300. The BMW makes 115 at 7,900.
Also the GSA was "all-around the most comfortable, capable and enjoyable motorcycle here. There's nothing it didn't do well."
Basically it came in best at most everything except price as it is the most expensive.
