Well I've had a call from Stanfords who tell me the Michelin 742 map of Morocco is temporarily out of print untill the new version this April

I know some of you coming already have this map, if not, keep an eye out in your local book shop.
I'll also check tomorrow in Bangor.

any tips on maps

hello all

sorry for interupting on a long thread but i wondered as you are in advance stages of planning if you have any tips on maps. I am due in morocco around the 6th or 7th , a week or so ahead of you all, so will not be able to follow the trail of beer cans, burger rappers and engine oil tins. its my first time there so any tips on anything would be very much welcome.

20 Tinerhir via piste from Alnif
21 Piste over Tizi-n-Tazazert to Nekob piste > Vallee du Draa to Zagora

Good luck with this trip it sounds fanatstic. Was on nights again yesterday and re-read alot of the threads. I so wish I could have joined you but we have to book our leave in Sept/Oct for the following year and I have no time left this year. In 08 I'm going to have 3 weeks off from the middle of April and hopefully there maybe a few others going at the same time that I can hook up with.
That gives me a year to get fit and better at off road riding.
Have fun and I look forward to the reports and photos.
