GSPD wiring Problem"HELP"

Can any one tell me what the single black wire that goes from the right hand handle bar controls is for and where dose it go to???


Also, I have connected the wiring loom to my bike but can only get the lights to work, I have double checked the connections all seem ok, the lights all work, m/beam, side light etc, but the dash lights don't work and the engine will not turn over, off the start button, check all fuses... I've even tried to short the start motor out to see if it will turn the engine, its just dead

Just done this bit on mine

How many cables on the battery? should be 2 on + (main, thick starter cable and the one that powers ignition block and starter relay) and one on - (Earth)

Got the earth connected to the coil mount? Might have to scrape some powder coat off for contact I did

From the right bar, there is only the harness that goes to the block connector near the headlight and the brake light switch... and heated grips if you have them.

Check the fuses in the main fuse holder. Also, look at this
