OEM Wiring colours help.

I am currently in the process of wiring up my aux lights. I have got an OEM aux light switch and mount and noticed the switch has three wires and the loom I made only has two to the switch. I'm needing to know which colour wire does what on the BMW switch. I believe one is for illumination so may wire this to my trigger wire on the sidelight circuit.
All help and advice appreciated as usual

Green Black
