Guess what i got in the post today
A gt-moto tooltube, wasn't keen on the stainless steel flasks abiltity to rust in the british weather
Anyway it bolts right on to the subframe on the r/h side of the bike without any mods to the brackets. It'll only work there if youve ditched the standard ehaust system.
The mounts are great, the tube is absolutly rock solid, no movement at all.
I just needed to use a couple of spacers to move them away from the subframe ( they came in the kit) the two on the opposite side (touratech spares) to the mounts are there to spread the load (and the bolts were too long)
You can buy the kit from here , if you want the one i have you'll want this page There looks to be a kit available for most of the gs bikes from the 1100's onwards.
