Hi Moly

There's 2 threads - one for punters (not that you're a typical punter..) and one for guides and this one's for guides. Do you know the routes round there, can you guide? Can be a bit of a labyrinth if you don't know your way round the 'Plain.

I half know my way - if you half know your way maybe we should team up?

Anyhow hope you head on down either way, be good to see you...

no not got a clue, was just going to help out if i can
team up ...great idea

Another Idea!!

So, we are going to have bibs to identify the run leaders at the bakery - great.

The other problem though was getting the riders to spread out around the various run leaders - and last year Losttheplot ended up with about 35 riders!!

So an idea:

What about giving the run leaders "tickets" (all I mean is pieces of paper with a number - group 1, etc). I only wanted to take about 8-10 so I have 10 tickets, Mike F has 8, etc.

When you introduce the run leaders people can come straight to us and grab a "ticket" - that way groups are sorted and when we go to our bikes people can easily group up.

Would that work? Just concerned that we will end up with a situation like last year with riders getting lost on the ride!

Let me know :comfort

I`m very happy for the guides to organize themselves and orgainer the riders in what ever way best for them and the day.

I am happy suppyling MY PENASH and Flaire, VENUE , FOOD AND DRINK and CASH COLLECTING :thumb

PLEASE please do carry on, I will do a small speech to thank everybody and explaining where lunch is at due to a maybe change of if weather is bad, then over to the GUIDES, I also have a printer and laminater at bakery if you need any A,B,C signs etc

Unfortunately I have no real knowledge of the Plain. I hope to be there but it's not 100% certain yet.

Mike F - will Moly be able to keep up with you? :)

With one hand tied behind his back.

Mind you last time I rode with him he did have one hand out of action and could still wipe the floor with me...

I've asked the missus for the "101 Riding Excuses" for Xmas so I'll be well prepared on the day!

ha ha !!! got my hands working now :-)
just both index fingers wont close ,i can live with that
looking forward to it mm

Clives got a well thumbed copy that you can borrow.... :augie

IIRC 2 particular favorites from said book being:

"my rear brake won't work- oopss it's missing bolts?"

and

" i've left the key to the security chain at home, but the security chain is still securing the bike to the trailer..."

:blast

If there is 100 people, could the Bakerman take a slow group? I know we all wanted to take about 10 but it might need to be 15.................

Maybe be best if Mike F can bring his Husky instead of big bike??

6. BAKERMAN (slow group )
7.
8.
(Still more T.R.F if you have them !)

60 folks in the past, but you never know

when you have Final list I can make a poster with groups A.B.C.D.E. etc
and separate LARGE LETTERS so guides can hold them up when we group up at talk.

There's been no real take up on the big bike thread - only Burt and he's cheating on a Katoom!

Will bring the 690 as things stand.

And a snorkel judging by your text yesterday.

Looking fwd to that bacon buttie....
