Should make it quick and easy - although I have a feeling LostThePlot will end up with 35 again!!

:bounce1

Sounds like a plan regards the group organisation.

I'd rather not have a group as big as 35- in practice it just doesn't work.

It only takes one rider to get a puncture or mechanical problem and it stops the whole group, and they tend to be spread over a few miles if using the drop off system, which results in everyone getting cold and bored/pissed off. :blast

I know the rest of the guides want group sizes of no more than 10, but if you could remain flexible to the addition of an extra rider or 2, it might ensure that everyone has a great day, and also keep my group size down (less than 20 would be great for once!)?

As for technical level of my ride? I haven't really ridden for 6 months due to bike issues- now resolved, but in light of this i'll try to take it "easy". :augie

I'll still be finding some gnarly rutty stuff, along with plenty of gravel tracks with "whoops", mud and also try and get a few of the sights of salisbury plain in.

Does anyone know if the cafe likely to be open at stonehenge?

Bakerman- is your tractor dealer friend attending again this year?

merry christmas all,

Nathan

I still fancy giving my group a small bit of paper with the letter on as i am sure people will forget by the time they get to their bikes. I'll do 15 of each group of others want them as well. Just think they can choose at introduction stage and we have our group. Otherwise they all pick Nathan and he gets 35 again!

Brill, but You have to keep it very simple as all special needs,by this I mean, as you say do it for all the groups :thumb

We have had 60 in the past but I feel 100 coming I could be wrong but, there has been a lot more interest this year.

I`m going to do a small speech, saying the fact that I don`t want the leaders over taken unless waved by, also on sticking to the track they are on and not riding where ever they feel like, and any other points you feel I should say.

Also where lunch will be as if weather is poor we will go to the barns at Everleigh again, as no shelter at Imber village.

Everybody will also get a wrist band to show they have paid, and so I know how many too do lunch for.

Sounds good and yes it should be simple - just need people to commit to groups so we get an even spread.

Only other thing to point out to riders is that it is at there risk of injury or any fine just in case! Also, that we may get stopped on range and to leave it to the run leaders to manage any issues.

Thanks - looking forward to my bacon roll on a sunny warm dry day......
