I guess Hepco (for some reason) changed the pattern of the bars in 2002.

so if you want the bars and the hard parts you will need to find the old pattern bars.

Interesting question - I also have a '99 1100 with H&B bars, and a set of hard parts waiting to be fitted. It looks to me as though they will fit OK - but time will tell whether the bars will need any modifying - hopefully not.

Yes they will fit ....
I have them fitted to me own moto.
On the lefthand side above the abs hoses
the bolt that goes in needs to be longer
you then need to fill the gap between
the HB bars and gearbox with a few washers.
Simple...
