If you don't mind scratching your screen that is! If you do leave the screen on, use it in the most upright position to minimise the chance of bashing your face on it.
There shouldn't be much water on the Hafren course, as far as I remember, but I'd want a snorkel on a GS, just to be safe.
As far a Cambrian vs Hafren goes, I'd say the Hafren is harder going, but still totally doable on a big bike.
