Hi

I've just purchased a GSA and was wondering if there are any riders in Hampshire area who would like to meet up for rides and pass on some tips on how to ride and get the best out of this beast :)

Cheers Neil :thumb

You might be interested in going to the Hog Raost; it's held @ Andover Rugby Club on 2-4 July this year. Bound to be a few local folk going, so good opportunity to get to know some people for future ride outs etc.

The Raost is apparently a right laugh with a good mix of people. I've never been, so hoping to make a few mates for events, ride outs etc.

Details are in the GS national events section.

Enjoy your GS :thumb2

Welcome Neil

handy tip number one move out of Hampshire:thumb

Welcome Neil.

Ignore the comment above !

There's load of people in Hampshire they're just to shy to meet up with others ! I live in Basingstoke and have a 2009 GSA and meet up with others at a place called Newlands .. I ride out most weekends so could meet up anytime for a chat and a coffee . Often go down to loomies Cafe near the Bahnstormers dealership.

Cheers
Steve

+1. Don't think "I don't fancy it as I won't know anybody there" because it doesn't work like that. Like KB says, go the Hograost but if you can, go on one of the rideouts. It's a great way of meeting similar riders, especially as you usually stop off for a pub lunch as well. :thumb

Thanks guys for the tips - Hog Roast sounds a good idea.

Steve / Dave if you are out this Saturday - drop me a line and we could meet up for a coffee and a spin.

Would love to but the missus is doing the Basingstoke 10k run and I am the chauffeur. Sunday AM would be OK though

Hi Dave

Steve and I are free on Sunday morning if you can make it ? Waiting for Steve to confirm where and when. Cheers Neil

Sunday.

How about loomies at 10am Sunday morning .. Then a bimble up to newlands for a coffee and then onto vines of Guildford for a sniff around the new limited edition GS Range ?

Or I am welcome to other suggestions.

loomies is here.

Possible route avoiding the A31.

Hello Steve,

Long time no see ! I've got a couple of hours spare Sunday morning as I've got to go to one of my daughters dancing shows in the afternoon so all things being equal I'll see you @ Loomies about 10.00am .
