No pix I'm afraid. But what I can say is that it was a low hanging horizontal branch on Water Lane that, err, "fell down" as Dave decided to ride underneath it.

All I can say is I'm feckin glad I had full armour on! It's not my head that hurts, although I did see stars, it's my ribs when the force threw me on to the bars! One very painful right chest to say least!

Dave, sorry to miss the ride out and what sounds to have been an interesting dismount!
How about fixing the date for the next trip around the lanes? 11th November looks good to me and I quite fancy a trip to Salisbury Plain area, perhaps Natham might be interested in leading the ride or suggesting a good route, would you be up for this?

Interesting is an understatement! 11th doesn't work I'm afraid, am on a weeks hols then.....somewhere??

, and time to fix is looking a little thin on the ground for the next few weeks, so will have to postpone the ride for Salisbury plain for the 11th- unless someone else wants to lead?nathan

I am leading a group of TRF novices around the plain this sat, have a couple of spaces left (although it will be to TRF rools!)
I can run this ride again in Nov if Nathan can't make it.
