handguard spoilers

hi all,

i had a search already but found conflicting results so...............


the handguard spoilers... are they a touratwat item or is there a bmw item also? I ask as some spoilers i have seen have touratwat written on them and some do not, also some look slightly different in design, i am vowed to try keep any touratat items off my bike so for those that have the spoilers fitted where did u get them from - touratat or main dealer?

If you have the BMW handguards then get the BMW matching spoilers... for the F650/800GS they are about £17 from your dealer or NN

thanks 4 the replies guys, i prefer the smaller guards but the ones on NN are touratat, so ill have a walk down to the local stealer.

Phil: those would be fine also but dont they only fit the newer bikes withthe new design handguards?

Yes they do. sorry i thought thats what you where after..
I think i have some of the older style ones lying around in the garage...
i'll have a look and let ya know.

greatly appreciate the piccys, yes those are my prefered size of spoiler but i am loathed to have any TT items. Strangly i have seen a matt version so i guess these are the BMW items. ta 4 the pics tho

The big ones in the top pic are for an 08 Adventure, they are now fitted to mine....

Think ive been having a senior moment now Do nippy s guards replace part of the original guard as opposed to just bolting on to what came as standard ?

They replace the top part of the original unit...

Hi Phil, great info on the handguards and the pics clear up alot of doubts .

Great pic of the bike, I take it they were out of red ones then, hahahahah, only joking .
Phil, whats that attached to your right hand pannier rail (storage container maybe??) if so did you buy it?
