I've been looking for something to move the bars back. My current riding position is giving me some shoulder ache and on a recent test ride on a Tracer 900 I felt more comfortable with the bars closer to me. I'm not looking to raise the bars, though I guess a small rise would be OK as a trade-off for reduced reach. The Rox risers look as though they could rotate backwards, anyone tried that?

Have you tried just rotating them toward you slightly. I've found that makes a difference to my shoulders.

I initially had shoulder ache after 30 minutes. I loosened them off and moved them closer to me by about 10mm. Any more and bars start to go lower. Recently rode 500 miles in a day last Saturday and no more shoulder pain. It's seems the slightest adjustment made all the difference

Yes, tried that with the standard bars. I didn't like the backward sweep of the standard bars so changed them for some Renthals which are straighter, these are rotated back as far as possible. I'm looking for maybe 25mm further back.

Needs risers then. Plenty on here that only lift slightly and go back more

rox adjustable risers work for me. have got the barswell back and fairly low as i get neck pain. only had to reroute the throttle cable slightly.

I had thumb joint problems with the BMW bars' sweep angle - the ends turn inward too much for me. I've fitted Rox anti vibe risers with McGrath bend (low rise) Renthal bars with lower mounting blocks/clamps on the steering yoke. I now have the same grip height but a much more comfortable thumbs.

OEM bar clamps with Rox and more normal rise Renthal bars could be a good move for people who need a higher bar height.
