Anyone swapped their LC handlebars for something lower and further back towards the rider? I have an injury and trying to make the bike more comfortable
I undid the clamps and rolled the bars toward me a few degrees….makes a big difference . You do need to be careful of anything catching on tank or screen when on full lock but there is a sweet spot when all is fine.
I assume you’ve tried that?
Should have bought a RS.
Don’t know about lower
a lot of folks fit up and back risers, I’ve got some Chinese ones on mine and it’s more comfortable, helps stop getting shoulder pain
as mentioned above, you need to make sure you clear the tank on full lock

Would adding a higher seat help? If you can't lower the bars and can only fit up and back risers adding height to the seat will do the same thing. Obviously it'll change your kneee angle and how high you are from the floor but again might be worth trying at least in the first instance by putting your current seat on the highest setting if you haven't done so already?I looked at the ROX risers but they also add some height, which I was trying to avoid. Something to think about though. Thanks
Thanks a good point and will try that. I have the standard seat in the low position so will try the high position to start with. Thanks!Would adding a higher seat help? You're welcome. I've messed around with my lowered GS when I had carpal tunnel syndrome by trying the up and back risers and tried raising the seat so know it makes a difference. Whether it'll help you I don't know but trying your standard seat on the high position is free so worth a punt. Good luckThanks a good point and will try that. Up and back are ok, but..
Full lock low speed turns ..... your elbow has nowhere to go, but into your torso
My LC had stock bars when i got it, i tried Rox risers, for the amount of time it took to fit, decide hmmm and took them off,
I have an injury also, ( broken neck & herniated disc) but you adapt ..
Why would an dim inbred Aussie make a comment like that? You asked a question on the internet where anyone is entitled comment and don't like comments. What is the point of this comment? I bought this bike 8 years ago you absolute clown.
Your mother should have swallowed......

You must be just a bit stupid to buy a bike that does not fit you in the first place.
