A really good day out. The weather was kind to us and the roads and scenery were first class. Forry will hopefully remember all the roads he took us on and be able to give some detailed routes for information.

It was great to have met some more of the NE guys. Thanks to everyone who turned up and made it a memorable run :thumb2

From north of the border we had Den, bgfinlay, Voyager, Kenny Rodkiss, Delboy, Spy In The Camp, Straypus, Stumpy with Fiona on pillion and me. Oh, and Forry (well, he's almost Scottish). Hope I've not forgotten anyone...

Here are a couple of photos from the day...

Oh and we had a celebrity guest riding with us. The bastard son of George Dawes and a Teletubbie.

Jammy sods you took all the sunshine I thought we were on jetski's maist of the day:(

Another good day out

It was a bit misty on the way to St. Mary's Loch - but I took a couple of photos around Talla & Megat Reservoirs.

Del Boy had to stop to adjust his front shock.

More in the next post.

Excellent turnout guys and looked like a great run. I couldn't have made it in time so explored the highlands with a few more mates on GS's and a Varadeo. I didn't realise how good the roads were up from Grantown over to Nairn, Forres etc... Superb weather too.

AndyT:cool:

At The Glen Cafe I just had to get a picture of Forry in a Car Park !

Den seemed very pleased with his new tie.

Stumpy and Fiona arrived.

At the end of the first rocky trail.

Great to meet so many of you today, love the roads across Southern Scotland. How about another later in the year on the same theme but we can ride across the North of Englandshire.:beerjug:

Heading off from the rocky trail (who has been shooting at the road signs ? :nono )

At the sightseeing stop.

Always time for a photo opportunity.

I have more (naturally) but none of them cover the really interesting bits (the dead-end trail and the water crossing).

I dropped my bike again - it cut out after going through the water. I guess I just need more practice (no damage).

Kai, I hope you bike is OK, I believe you lost a bit of plastic !

Thanks to Forry and Ronno for another very enjoyable day out.

We must do this again sometime.

Straypuss - I hope you got home safely.

Bob.
