were that not yoursblue pipes/final drive noise/2008 GSA Slipping clutch/Has your GS1200 been reliable...or not/FDYou gonna post this on the 1200 side?
Make a change from the usual stuff they seem to moan about...![]()

Still annoying though, but not as much as selling all your goodies off your old 1150GS bike and not getting on with the 12GS replacement and then staring allover again

Fixed it for you
I'm so glad I did what you did and put my 1150GSA at the back of the garage, under a sheet.................when I got a 12GSA (and luckily didn't sell the goodies)
The morning I went to pick up the 12GSA.................I couldn't bring myself to ride the 1150GSA to trade it in..............so got a lift in the car and took my chequebook instead
One of my better decisions
1150GSA...................life is good![]()

I sold all the bits when I sold the 1150GSA and bought an ST1100. That lasted 2 months and bought an 1100GS..... I'm still trying to replace the accessories.....
PS: Don't sell the GS unless you need the cash. At least keep it until the summer until you know for sure that the GSA is the bike for you. I had to sell mine as I just couldn't handle the bulk - they are big, heavy beasts...... Find the 1100GS fits me so much better. All that said I've been looking at GSA's again with lust even though I know it's too big. Bikes are a disease.....

The 1150GSA i am buying hasn't got the 30l tank or the bulky pannier system.
so will be the same wieght as my standard 1150.
me not silly.![]()
)Is it just the height you are after then or the gear box? Can't be the one piece seat as it's brutal compared to the GS.
I think the biggest of my troubles on the GSA was an oversized topbox. Added a lot of weight high up (at least that is what I'm telling myself while drooling over GSA's)
