Nice screen too ....

Those screens any good JB? Certainly look better than the Wunderlich screen :thumb

Adequate wind protection?

If they're good enough for you they'll certainly be good enough for my svelte frame :D

Well, they take the wind off your arms and chest and leave your head in 'clean air', so no turbulence and not much blast

I think they look the 'best' of all the XCountry screens, especially in the dark version and they are very sturdy with no flex whatsoever

Try mine or Malc's, see what you think.................I like it and nearly went for a Wunderlich but prefer this

I also know of a cheaper way of obtaining one, than BMW's RRP - if you're prepared to 'box' clever:D

Sweet looking XCountry Bilks :beerjug:

Yep it's a good one, not a mark on it. Having had the Xchallange for over 3 years it's nice to have my feet firmly on the ground.

X country

Thanks looks a gem of a bike where did you find it ?
One in that condition is a keeper.

Happiness is another years MOT :beerjug:

Even the loveable likkle Garmin Quest still fits nicely :D

Watch for a Wunderlich screen cropping up in the FS&W Section sometime soon (with or without the 'premium' decals) ;)

:beerjug:

That looks better :)

Yes indeed JB it does look better ...

... but my Likkle Garmin Quest won't pick up a signal behind the smoked screen

So today I fitted a remote antenna ... trouble is it came with five feckin metres of feckin cable :blast

Now this is going to take the eye of an eagle and the hand of a surgeon ...

Glad you sorted it, strange though as my 2610 is fine behind the dark screen

That cover will fit above your remote preload adjuster above with no issues, BTW;)

Happiness is ...

Getting the Xcountry out from beneath its cover and trying it for size :D

It hasn't seen daylight since August! I've had a pair of new knees fitted, now need to know if I can get on it :)

Right knee no probs but the left one hurts with feet on pegs, need more manipulation and physio, but it has been only five weeks since the op

Watch this space ...

Great Pic Mick,
The no hands text manoeuvre was always one I aspired to.
Secretly, that's why I kept falling off !
Best of luck with it anyway. . . Dave

Way to go Micky.
Glad your new bionic knees are working ok. You have all winter to get max movement in them.

Not bad eh. You have new knees and after 5 weeks your on your bike.
JB has a little bruse on his shine and not been on a bike in 2 weeks, lol lol.

Cheers Dave.
