Hard Wiring Garmin Cable

Hi

Wonder if someone can help me please. Im going to pick my new R 1200 GS up on Friday. Ive asked them to attach a cradle to hold my 2610 on which I believe fits onto the 4 yoke bolts. I want to hard wire the Garmin cable onto the bike but wondered if there was an easier way than just attaching the cable to the battery + and - cables.
