Had a look at a Fatboy and a Soft tail Slim at the weekend ( Like you do :D)
Had a Fat Boy in 2001 loved it , sold it 2 yrs later to get my 1150ADV . Anyone had ago on the slim version ? Looks Great , very low seat height but more a stripped down fat boy with laced wheels . Just wondering is all . Also looking at a Bullet Chrome and an r9T for my retirement present to myself Cheers :thumby:

tricky had one... As you say it's a fatboy really with spoked wheels etc... Very nice but..... You are tall like me? How's the fit? They have a very low seat height?

yes tricky had one a very nice looking bike and thats coming from me who doesnt like anything ,he is about 6ft 2 or so and i dont think he had to many problems size wise (ooh no missiuss)

They are probably my favourite Harley..

nearly 4 x the price of the Enfield Chrome ! . more than an R9T but such a lovely bike ! Miss the Fatboy I had more than any other I have owned . Sold it for what I paid for it after 2 years .They are so different to a WC GSA but that's what I'm after . The Enfield is really nice in the flesh , as is the R9T but Jesus this thing is Cool as Feck

Loved my Slim and kept it for two years which is par for the course with me. :D

Like jackass said am 6 2" and found it fairly comfortable. It is low (one of the lowest standard Harleys) and the boards scrape if you corner at normal speeds etc. But that's not the point of it really. Fit forward controls like dib if it's a big issue for you. :)

think I'm gonna buy me one of them..... just need to look at Forwards....
