I've been beta testing these units for a while now and the final device is a joy to use and the best balancing tool i've used, better than the shitemax and even better than my 30 year old mercury guages.

The mk1 didn't work too well on airheads, but it's been worked and vastly improved on and now the mk3 works perfectly. Plus the device also has an inbuilt rev counter, plus a few other inbilt features.

I had a Mk2 at the hogroast for people to view and handle. And now the final version is finished and available.

I've no attachment to the company but can vouch for the product as a very satisfied user. :thumb2

It's available HERE.

If anyone wants to view the harmoniser they're welcome to come and look at mine.

Here's a short utube of a basic idle operation.

Let me introduce myself

Hello Ladies and Gentlemen,

I am the designer of the Harmonizer.

Steptoe graciously accepted my request to help with field testing before production. He and others helped me refine it over a period of several months.

And yes, it does singles :D

In addition to balancer mode, it has a gauge mode that allows fine tuning of idle speed (and idle mixture in the case of a carburetor).

Please excuse the barbaric spelling. I'm from the Colonies.

Should anyone have questions, please feel free to ask!

All the best!

does it come with decent instructions (for knobends)?

It doesn't come with instructions for balancing specific bikes. I'm (slowly) working on balancing procedure videos for a few select machines. I know this will help people that are new to motorcycle tuning. If you had a question about tuning your specific machine, I'm sure the folks on this forum would be helpful!

With regard to to operating the Harmonizer itself, it is knobend-simple.
It is very intuitive and essentially foolproof. It will even turn itself off after 5 minutes of inactivity in case you forget.

having seen the mk1 in action, and been rather impressed), it's difficult to imagine how a 4 cylinder version would work.

it balances one pot against the other until the indicator is centralised.just having two devices or displays wouldn't help AFAICS.

I agree, it's difficult to imagine. But please be patient young Jedi. All will be revealed. I wish I could give up more detailed information right now, but there are potential competitors lurking about.

I can say the Quartet will have a 2-cylinder mode that exactly mimics the Harmonizer. In 3 and 4 cylinder modes there will be display choices, depending on your preference.

It will remember your settings to minimize mucking about.

Grok,

Since I have a four cylinder Brick to work on as well as the 1200GSA twin, when would the "Quartet" be available?

My goal is the Christmas season for the 4-cylinder version.
A fair bit of the work done on the Harmonizer is applicable, so I think the target date is realistic.

Just out of curiosity, what brick do you have?
I ask because I'm looking for a test mule to use during development.

My limited research on the K bikes suggests the throttle bodies are not individually adjustable?

There may be some pre-16 valve early exceptions?

I want something with ABS because I may actually ride it instead of just sucking exhaust in the garage.

In addition to the K-bikes I'm looking at a Concours 14.

Any info appreciated!

Thanks for the update Grok. Looking forward to getting it. I'll let you know how I get on.

All pre-orders have been shipped.
It has been taking around 7 days to the UK.

Thanks again, and please don't hesitate to ask if there are any questions!

How about you signing up here on UKGSer so that potential customers like me can PM you with our orders?
Didnt see if you accepted PayPal or not as a means of payment.
Basically, I'd like one with shopping made easy :D:D
