Has anyone fitted a pair of ESA Wilber shockers to their GS-LC to improve the ride quality, if yes did they do the job? :thumb2

Only one guy on that thread had the ESA suspension...any more feedback will be much appreciated??

I had Ohlins on my '07 GS and it was an improvement I was happy fund, esp as both ends were 2nd hand in the first place. I'm sure there's a counter view someone will share, but it felt like a decent step up from stock suspension.

On the LC I gotta say I'm pretty impressed with it out of the box and don't feel the need to upgrade. Not sure what is driving you, and certainly just because you can is a good enough reason sometimes, but it would have to be pretty special to worth the lolly to me.

The ride on this bike has never been as supple as on my first pre steering damper LC. It depends on what roads I ride, on smooth roads it's superb, however I fully agree it is quite a cost to upgrade and may not be worth it, hence the question as the cost of the Wilbers is a big chunk towards chopping it in against a 2016 bike which may have a brilliant ride. :tarka

Interesting, quite a few people i have spoken to have complained about a harsh or copy ride. In the end I chopped my LC GSA in and went back to a TC as I think it is a much better ride....subjective I know but works for me.
