Has anyone got one of these?

Wear safety glasses and gloves, especially if doing it the proper way.

The proper way is to fit the bushes and bolts first and then hook the springs on last with another hooked tool.
The easy way is to fit the springs to the bike and the stand first, then manouevre the stand around a bit so you can get the (pre-greased) bush and bolt loosely in the nearside and then you should be able to lever the stand around enough to line up and get the bolt in the offside as well.
At least I think it's offside then nearside, it could be the other way round. You'll just have to have a play.

:confused::confused::confused:

you do reaslise that centre stand is for a standard 650 gs , if thats the bike you have, it allready has one fitted :o

It will be too short to a fit a dakar if thats the bike you have .

a bit of clarification is required i think :augie:beerjug: mike

Ahh ok , in that case the' legs ' will be too short , they can be extended if you are handy with a welder ;)

if not your choices are touratech . sw motech or wunderlich .

cheers mike
