Hastings Direct Refund

There is currently an e mail doing the rounds from Hastings Direct regarding overpayment on motor policies and refunds being issued, I received one despite no longer having a policy with them.

If you get one it is apparently NOT a scam rather instead a monumental f#ck up by the Hasting Direct's IT system................there are no overpayments and definitely not any refunds .

You may get a second e mail telling you to ignore the first one...........or not as the case may be.

I got two of these e-mails from Hastings yesterday. First one mentioning a refund and the second saying it was sent in error. My latest policy with them expired on the 2nd of this month. Used to have three vehicles insured with them until their renewals became uncompetitive.
