Hastings Direct - they are confused.com

Renewal time and the docs come through online
Been with them for seveal years now
Gone up £10 on last year as usual

However - when you click on the excess details on their website it shows me this - Pillion not covered !
I never agreed to that.......

and they can't spell



the actual policy though shows this -




much confusion followed during the next 30 min phone call as to why their website would say this.
We have gone with what the actual policy states.

I use to be with Hasting….but never again.
After my bike got damaged by a taxi in the hotel car park in Siena, upon ringing Hastings there initial response from the handler was “Sorry but Italy is not part of the EU” and despite having all the required contact details of the taxi driver they refused to payout.
Problem being is that you only ever find out how good any insurance company is when making a claim.
Needless to say I’ve since gone elsewhere.

Hi there buddy, hope your both well.
All good, currently in Vielha in the Pyrenees on my way down to Javea in Spain to meet Debs. Weather has been absolutely dreadful but hopefully from tomorrow as I head into Spain the sun will at last show itself.
