Have A BMW navi 4 - what Bluetooth headset is good with it?

Ok, I've got the r1200gs TE, and got a good deal on a second hand navi iv so I'm all gps'd up...

But...
Is it worth getting a Bluetooth headset?

They all look a bit of a faff when putting on or taking off helmet.
And they have batteries to run out etc.,

I'm not so bothered by the need to hear the sat nav, but I wonder if they are any good for music playback, which would be nice on a longer boring motorway run.

What's the feeling - are they worth it at all?

Bluetooth is definitely worth it in my opinion, sound quality not great but i find it such a faff being hard wired at fuel stops etc.

BMW system 6 Bluetooth is superb if you don't wear earplugs or have hearing loss. It's also impossible (so far) to attach/splice in a female 3.5mm connector to the BMW headset for "in-ear" speakers
