A question of compatibility, aimed largely at GSRich I guess but here goes:

I've just bought a Pro-7-Sport (Kit 6) with additional headset off the site as well as a Part 1294 (Ground Loop Isolator - I think?).

I've got a 2610 with a 2.5mm to 3.5mm cable to connect to the Autocom. I also have an iPod with appropriate cable.

Now the question really is Can the 2610 connect via Aux 2 and by what means?, Ideally I should have waited for the new kits in due course but I'm away with the bike shortly and jumped in with both feet as usual.

I'm not intending to connect a phone at present and would ditch the music for the 2610 if necessary through Aux 1 if that was the only way forward.

Finally why has Part 1294 got 2 inputs ?

I would say that you have got a Part 1282 if you have got a red and black isolation block. This will plug into the aux socket and convert it into 2 sockets, socket a for the GPS and socket b for phone use. The Part 1294 is a 2.5m mono to 3.5mm stereo GPS interface lead that will run from the 2610 into the Part 1282.
