Having a ball

Can I buy just the 'ball' bit for a Garmin RAM mount anywhere? I want to move the arm and cradle between car and bike.

Yes you can. Either screw down jobbie if you fancy doing that to your dash or a large effective suction cup. I have both and can recommend the suction cup as when you rent cars etc its good.
