When do we get a vid of the group ride two Sundays ago :bounce1 ?

Mike was too high on two stroke exhaust fumes to remember to turn the camera on. :boozer

Ahhhh, gee whiz (kicking the dirt). Now that you've made a comment like that I'll wind up in the ditch trying to live it.

When do we get a vid of the group ride two Sundays ago :bounce1 ? And are you really considering a Grizo? :eek

Thread Hijack

Didnt do a vid as it wasnt that sort of ride !! it was a bit "Ooooh isnt that scenery lovely dear" as we all had the significant others along, saving the video for when Bubba is back on the road :clap and we can do a boys only raid through the Hills :bounce1 :bounce1

Re the Griso naaaahhh loved the test ride on the Breva and love the look of the Griso but wouldnt chop the GS for either ... Roger would reckon i was a poofter if I got a Griso :ymca

Oh re the original topic of the thread

I had a seal go on my GS1200 at 10,000 k that leaked oil onto the clutch that required replacing ... service was excellent even tho it took 4 weeks for a new clutchplate to arrive, they originally loaned me a K100LT then gave me the Demo R1200RT for 2 weeks as a loaner bike so no complaints there, great service from the Adelaide motors guys :thumb :thumb

Hogdawg, thanks for that, just more confirmation that I've done the right thing. Would love to see those pics of the salesman on his track antics :) answers another question that I was a bit reluctant to ask, i.e. is it possible to get your knee down on the GS12 without getting the rest of your body down also? Enjoy the bike mate, sounds like you will, and thanks again for the post :thumb

If you are interested in the GS and Trackdays ask ask TwoDear about bracket racing he and Clive (another very quick South Aussie GS rider) entered their GSs at the local Mallala circuit and made a bit of a stir with the power rangers 9even got a mention in Aussie MCN) apparently they mugged quite a few sportsbikes and Jim got accosted by a shirty 999 rider who couldnt pass him

over to you Jim .......

JohnnyX It's a 2005 spec, but I don't mind - I neither know the difference, nor care. Its great and I saved £1400 over new price!

JDH, I'll try and get the photo's and email them to you. If I get them I'll PM you unless anybody else wants to see them in which case, I'll post them here.

Cheers :thumb

Thanks for that Hogdawg, really look forward to seeing them :thumb
Mikef, sounds interesting, hope TwoDear can give me the details.

Cheers.

To answer the question, Mikes post(s) remind me it is rude to hijack. So I'll send a PM instead.

5) Make that rear diff unlucky #3. This time all crown gear teeth are utterly shattered, like broken glass. As I seem to be the only one here having any trouble with the rear diff, I will have to review my riding habits. At the moment I'm awaiting BMW's decision whether it will be covered by warranty or not since warranty just expired in September.

BMW management have stated that broken diff #3 is not my problem, an entire new assembly will be fitted at no cost to me. I still have concerns about about BMW reliability but not their service, good on the boys from City Motors Adelaide.

Re doubts

Get it out of gagage start it up, get on ,ride, smile, get home chilled nuff said . No problems, couldn't give a shit about image its what I want and its fantastic. And its the same price as a fortnight in Majorca and a plasma telly :D
