Whilst sat in the boozer last night I noticed that there wasn't a cloud of smoke coming from the general direction of Leazes Park, decided on the way home that we must have won.


Shearer, hardly a master tactician taking Owen off, he's a waste of time IMHO always was, Real Madrid saw through him within 4 weeks, he's too small and spends most of his time on his @rse after being knocked off the ball, and too slow to get away from defenders.

To be honest, I was pretty much prepared to see us go down. It would be nice to (probably) start seeing us win a few games, and I don't see that happening much if we manage to hold on to the Premiership.
