Hi,

I'll be coming back to the UK next week to ride my HP2 down to Northern Africa. THe battery (standard) will be naff and I can't seem to find a dealer in or around the Heathrow Airport area that supplies these batteries? Any clues, greatly appreciated as I only have a couple of days to get the bike ready!

Thanks

:(Thanks Mr Sniffy. I forgot about them! Are their terminals on the same side as the original unit as I think there is a little bit of work needed on the Hawker ones. Do you use the Oddesey? I am sick to death of the original one. My HP2 here is on it's 4th....:(

hp2 battery

My hp2 came with a yuasa made ytz12s battery and did very well for me. I just changed it for the ytz14s yuasa made battery and it was a straight bolt in. Just turn battery sideways and lift out. Super easy. My bike is over three years old with 22,000 miles on it with very little battery issues. The yuasa battery is a motocross label brand. Very economical. The 14 has more crank power and is the same size. Have fun. Richard

I have got a PC535 but not got around to fitting it!!:blast Terminals are on the correct side. Has Loads more cranking power than the original, had no problems with the original as alway on a trickle charger when not in use, but heard about all the problems so got one just in case....

I checked with Oddysey in the UK, they say the PC535 won't fit the HP2. I sent them the dims of the Yuasa battery just to check. Has anybody actually got the Oddysey battery in their HP???:thumb2
