HDMI from my iPad2 ? will this work?

I'm slightly technologically challenged so please be gently.

Will this wee device linked below allow me to show videos and streamed programs from BBC iplayer to my tv via my iPad2?

i think you can do it with an ipad + apple tv.

I thought about before but don't really want one of them

yes most websites will run the whole thing for you after you select the required options...


go to iclarified.com to see the options for your device

it allows you to add non apple approved programmes and this means you dont have to pay for apps if you dont want to.

cons? none that i have experienced.

Ipads are already equipped for video-output. You just need the right cable.

Plug into iPad/iPhone etc, plug into telly, hit play......

I do this frequently, I have an adapter which I purchased from Apple, it allows the HMDI lead from my TV to plug into my Ipad 2 and plays perfect HD video on the tv screen. Apple TV does this wirelessly using the local WiFi network.

makes no difference, to apple given the info from them, if someone is so concerned about it then just delete it before going back to the shop.
