Replaced push rod seals and looking back (at video) realise I've put head gasket in back to front so the gasket slightly fouls the pushrod tubes. Engine already been started and warmed up. Planning to strip it back to head gasket tomorrow and fit right way around. However, does anyone know what consequence of it being wrong way around and fouling pushrod tubes?

Not much Just pop it off and flip it

It'll be fine

Hears the cry from all the Puriists "Thou Musteth Replaceth the Head gasket !!"

Bullshit flip them over It'll be fine !!

JUST watch your torque settings Do them in stages and Do NOT go for Max values

Later engines were made of Play-donium!

Cheers Doc, grand, I'll just flip. Was doing max values on the torque sequence, I guess 30NM instead of 35 might be OK.

My R65 came with one head gasket upside down. A pushrod had some slight marking is all. It had been like that for a very long time before I got the bike.
