Does anyone have one of those exploded diagrams of a 1200gs headlight assembly? If so, I'd be most grateful for a peek.
As I sat at lights on my way to work Friday I noticed a loose moulded piece of plastic sitting on top of the flat surface beneath the lights. I reached in, grabbed it and put it in my pocket. When I arrived at the office I took a look; it seems that the headlight adjuster has disappeared, and that the plastic piece I saved (which is like a 20mm long, 6mm diameter tube with a squared off end) is but one part of the whole adjustment assembly. Ho hum.
Anyway, I'd like to see what I've lost.
Bike is due at the dealers Thursday for its first service, which would be fine if I hadn't fitted an HID conversion kit (thanks LesW). I'm very confident that I put it all back together properly, and that it was working perfectly well (including the adjuster) for two weeks before this problem occurred. I suspect that it's going to be an uphill task to convince BMW of this though.....
