Headlight Adjustment 1200GS

Apart from the up/down lever thing for when you've got a pillion/luggage/beer belly on the bike, anyone know how to adjust the 1200 GS headlight (main and dip)?

I'm still under the misapprehension that it will make a difference and throw some light on the road.

There's a hexagonal knob inside the "up down lever thingy". Clockwise for down, as I remember.

The 1200's lights are pretty good I reckon, but not so good that I won't be adding more

Do the lights need adjusting for driving on the opposite side of the road? And is it easy to do if it does?

The recovery truck`s deck lights are adjusted from inside the cab,
via a lever on the left of the driver`s seat.............
