Have got a 2011 GSA,7000miles on it now.Conti Trail Attacks.Love it to bits, ever since new, when on long open stretches of road, clocks are readable till around 80mph,any speed above that, the clocks and headlight unit develop a pulsing shudder rendering them unreadable.Following my mate in europe,he said he thought i was continually flashing lights at him.Anyone else experienced this?

no - something is wrong with yours.

i had mine upto its max speed and the clocks didnt shake about at any point

Yes, mine does the same. I think it's getting better as I get more miles on the engine. 8000 now and getting smoother.

As well as the two side bolts the headlamp has a rubber mount underneath. It's possible this is not located properly and could give you the symptoms you describe. Undo the side bolts and lift the headlamp unit upwards to take a look at it and make sure its all positioned correctly.

The bolts on the side of mt headlamp were a bit loose and the whole assembly used to shake a lot especially with knobblies fitted.
Tightened them up and it improved a lot
