I know it's a strange one but theres method in my madness but has anyone managed to change just the lense on a headlight before, I know it's sealed but is it possible?

Doubt it, these days most headlights are seal units and you normally have to buy a new one

Unfortunately it's a sealed unit and the lense can't be seperated.
One good reason for having some sort of protector on the light as the unit is expensive to replace.

Don't get me started I wonder 'Jumping on the thread a minute' if there might be a company that could produce some sort of lens cover that would deflect the beem from the hi'beem, to direct it where it should be. IE; the road and not the trees.
Any thoughts???
