I replied some time ago to your email and asked for a price. Perhaps it got lost somehow, but I've been travelling and on holiday and not in a hurry on this.

I would like to get one of these beauties though.

Ok folks, if you want one of these shrouds, I need to know what size to make them, so I need some measurements from you.
If you measure forward, from the headlight glass, to the bottom edge of the screen, then add about half an inch, I think that will do the job.
OR put the screen as far forward as it will go, and give me the distance (measured in the same way) so that the shroud will cover all settings of your tobinated screen.
I'm afraid these are going to cost about £35 each +p&p exchange, as there is no quick way of making them, apart from bending them by hand.
You might also need to shave a bit of plastic off the bottom of your screen (un-tobinated) to get a snug fit.

Some time ago, Vern graciously sent me one of these 1100 GS headlight shrouds, and in the meantime has taken some time off. Vern - I hope you're now doing well.

Vern's 1100GS headlight shroud works great. I could not be happier. I have even replaced the stock lamp with a PIAA 80/80 high output lamp which is even brighter. With the shroud, I get no indication (no annoying reflections, no light leakage) that the headlamp is on - except that I can see the road very well!

I have installed two devices that require external antennas - a Garmin 2610 GPS (If someone over there in EU can get me a "PerfectPilot" for my 2610 - we can work out a good deal) and an XM Radio. Do you get XM Radio or similar in Europe?

Anyway, I needed to find a place to mount these small antennas, and I realized that the headlight shroud was a good platform for them. I fabricated a couple of small steel brackets from an old steel book-end, and here's the result.

Now you are back in the big solid case business I wondered if you might also consider producing these headlight shrouds again. If you do, I'd like one (assuming the price is reasonably close to the original 35 gbp),
