Heat proof paint

Im getting a sixties style twin pipe exhaust (OK - its for the Lambretta not the GS) and need to paint part of it.

Any reccomendations for heat proof paint?

On a 2 stroke exhaust,which runs a bit cooler than a 4 stroke, especially the expansion chamber, Sperex VHT should work well.
Even better is Sperex XHT.

You may even be okay with barbeque spray paint from Wilkos or B&Q.

Clean any grease from the surfaces and warm them up with a blowlamp before spraying ( mind the fumes and don`t worry about the smoke ). Pass the flame over each successive coat,to bake the paint on.
