Heated grip adjustment?

I have a 2017 GS Adventure my colleague has a 2017 GS.

My heated grips are significantly hotter than his. My setting one is like his full power??

Can they be adjusted with BMW software at the dealer??

I know that this has come up recently, and a software update did sort it. Silly question, but he hasn't got Grip puppies fitted ? One of my earlier GSA's had cooler grips. Just lived with it.

I noticed my Lh grip seems colder than the RH grip

dealer checked it out and it came back as all ok

i dont have grip puppies btw

The 2022 bike i had seemed the same - so i took it as the issue is with the hands

No Grip puppies completely standard. Massively different. His battery does need replacing but I wouldn't of thought that would affect them whilst riding.

Well, my 2014 GSA , had poor heated grips , which was well reported for that era . A new ECU in 2022 now gives good heated grips, so I can confirm that software must influence the heat .
That said , dealers are totally unwilling to meddle with any unauthorised software changes.
