Heated Grip

Is anyone familiar with any common reasons for a heated grip to stop working?
+ does anybody know in the south west that might have a new one available off the shelf on a weekend.

Hi Matt,
The left hand heated grip wasn't working on my bike when I bought it. The problem was a broken wire caused by pulling the bike on to the main stand. If you have the same problem just role back the rubber grip, solder the wire, tape the joint and hey presto.

Usually corrosion in the connectors. But could be anything from broken wire to knackered switch.
