Heated grips

I have the std heated grips on my GS1150 '02 non-ABS. Compared to what I have seen in some threads (eg 'too hot to hold without gloves on') mine seem extremely wimpy. On the low setting it is difficult to detect any effect at all with bare hands. Before I go taking anything to bits, has anyone out there ever measured the sort of temperature that they get from their grips, against which I could do a comparison. Thanks. Ian

Can't give you an exact temperature but on my 02 1150 wearing thin summer gloves and using muffs, I find the 2nd setting too hot for all but short bursts.

Something is deffo wrong because mine (When they were working (have a broken left one suprise suprise)) they could almost take ya skin off on the high setting.
