Hello, not sure if this question has been asked before. I have a 23 plate r1250gs with heated grips but no wiring or connectors for a OEM seat. Is it possible , if i was to purchase a OEM heated seat,to configure and run the heated seat from the Hex ezCan. ?

Thanks

In theory i would say yes, as i run my heated jacket off my ezCAN, they run in co-ordination with the grips

I have configured my grips to run in 4 stages not the original 3 & in the hex software my heated jacket is set to 100% on all 4 settings then i use the jackets own controller, this way i can have grips & jacket on different temps of heat

Hi Shammy

Yes, you'll need to identify the ground and wire that provides the most heat, then replace the OEM connector with the ezCAN pigtail to connect to the ezCAN. Once connected, configure the output as heated gear, and assign the appropriate level of intensity to your settings. This will mimic your heated grips' level of intensity.

Kind regards

Thanks guys for all the info, i shall be on the lookout for a second hand seat oem and hopefully with this info i should be able to do something. Any other suggestions would be good.
