Got a Stormrider heated vest for Xmas
. At full power the website claims the max power consumption is 2.5 amps. I'm running it directly from the battery but notice that the heated grips hardly get warm at all now. Would that imply the batterys on it's way out ? (a 2010 model but I've had a break from riding due to the weather) - or is that normal with heated clothing ?
Couple of observations for anyone thinking of buying one of these - its quite bulky - if your jacket is close fitting you might have to lose the lining (a bit of a pain as it doesn't have arms !) - and it runs radiator hot at full power.
