HEATED WAISTCOAT, LEAD REQUIRED.

Hi, iv salvaged a heated waistcoat made by WIDDER, who have ceased trading. Does anybody have the lead going from the bikes battery or Bmw socket they dont require ?: I have the lead going from waistcoat with the on/off switch which leaves a two prong bit at the end. Before i bodge a connection, if anybody has a lead they want to sell or know where i can purchase one, i would be very grateful.

Cutting off the existing plug and fitting a BMW DIN is hardly a bodge and is a no brainer but first check the amps for the coat. My Gerbings pulls 7.5. amps so cuts out on the 5 amp limited BMW socket so needs wiring direct to battery.

Cheers Andy, i notice on/off switch stamped 10amp, althouth swith case is massive, its not fused. So will go straight from battery. Thanks for advice
